You assumed I was saying that. :-)

Both are criminal activities, but breaking into a house is a heavier crime than
entering an unlocked house. I don't know the difference, but there is a
significant difference in the maximum penalty between the two.

I also think that a system administrator should provide a credible explaination
of the things he did to protect his system. If you do nothing or not enough,
you are more or less inviting someone to break into your system.
